Ladenford Den - the Girlguiding Angus County campsite.
Ladenford Den offers a great opportunity to experience the outdoors in a beautiful setting within Angus.
Ladenford Den is re-opening!!
After six months of lock down we are delighted to announce that Ladenford Den, both hut and camp sites are re-opening from 1st October 2020.
The premises has been thoroughly cleaned and made Covid secure with all the usual measures, to keep users safe, put in place.
As face to face meetings indoors are now allowed, why not bring your unit to Ladenford to use the hut for a meeting or the woods/grounds for a session of outdoor fun?
Session times will be morning (10am to 1pm) or afternoon (2pm to 5pm) or evening (6pm to 9pm) and there will be no hire charge to units from Angus. If you use electricity for heating the hall, we would ask that you pay for that. Units are welcome to book more than one session and spend the whole day there if they wish. The kitchen will remain closed as will the resources cupboard, but the sports equipment can be used and cleaned after use. Users will be expected to clean all surfaces after the hire and there will be a cleaning check list in place to help with this. All cleaning materials, hand sanitiser and bin bags will be provided.
Units who are planning face to face meetings, either indoors or out, will be required to complete their own risk assessment which needs approval by their District Commissioner, as well as the usual consent forms for the girls. Please remember that Girlguiding have stated that Guides, Rangers and adult volunteers must wear face coverings whilst indoors, and ensure your numbers will allow for social distancing to take place as required.
To book a session at Ladenford please fill out the booking form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
