Ladenford Den - the Girlguiding Angus County campsite.

Ladenford Den offers a great opportunity to experience the outdoors in a beautiful setting within Angus.

There is an extensive wood to roam in with a burn through part of it and a wonderful campfire circle.  You may choose to sleep under canvas on the campsite or indoors in the Hut

The camping area is divided into two campsites which can be used individually or as a whole. If required, a wide selection of tents is available to hire, as well as all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. Currently there is a wet weather shelter on the upper campsite which is suitable for central cooking or group activities.

The Hut sleeps 22 in the main hall, with additional beds for 4 in the leaders' room.

A large well equipped kitchen provides:

  • a dishwasher
  • two cookers
  • two fridges
  • freezer
  • ample storage space for food

There is cutlery and crockery for 30 and an array of kitchen equipment.

The Hut is suitable for anyone with a physical disability.
