What do the Senior Section do?
- The Senior Section is made up of Ranger Guides and Young Leaders
- They are aged between 14 and 25 years old
- They have a fun, flexible programme called Look Wider
- The programme is linked to recognised qualifications and awards
- They have camps and holidays and often travel abroad
- They learn leadership skills
- Their Promise is the same as the Guides promise but with the added responsibility ‘To be of service to the community’
- They can choose from a range of Senior Section clothing
- Young Leaders help in Rainbow, Brownie or Guide units.
- They make new friends and have great fun
Anyone aged 14 to 25 is welcome to join the Senior Section, either as a Ranger or a Young Leader. We have a county unit which usually meets in Forfar or Montrose. Gillian Bell (senior section unit leader)
