Seniors having fun

What do the Senior Section do?

  • The Senior Section is made up of Ranger Guides and Young Leaders
  • They are aged between 14 and 25 years old
  • They have a fun, flexible programme called Look Wider
  • The programme is linked to recognised qualifications and awards
  • They have camps and holidays and often travel abroad
  • They learn leadership skills
  • Their Promise is the same as the Guides promise but with the added responsibility ‘To be of service to the community’
  • They can choose from a range of Senior Section clothing
  • Young Leaders help in Rainbow, Brownie or Guide units.
  • They make new friends and have great fun

Anyone aged 14 to 25 is welcome to join the Senior Section, either as a Ranger or a Young Leader.  We have a county unit which usually meets in Forfar or Montrose.  Gillian Bell  (senior section unit leader)
