Monikie & Newbigging is possibly the smallest district in Angus but we have a Rainbow ,Brownie and a Guide unit. We meet in the Scout Hut every week and are lucky to have Monikie Park on our doorstep so we have many outdoor meetings to take advantage of this facility. In April we had the pleasure of hosting the Annual meeting and the Rainbows and Brownies were able to sing the songs they had learned as part of the WaterAid Change the World challenge.
Most of the girls in the Guide unit have attended or are about to attend their first camp. Like all units we are looking forward to participating in the many Centenary events over the next year.
