Guides Get Away to the Ice Rink

Almost 300 members of Girlguiding Angus and their friends took to the ice at Dundee Ice Arena on 14th April.  They enjoyed the ice disco as part of the centenary celebrations being organised by the county.  Guides, aged 10 to 14, Senior Section aged 14+ and many adult leaders had a great time, either showing off their skating skills or tottering round the edge holding on for dear life!!  By the end of the evening many of the younger girls, who could not previously skate were managing to get round without holding on and were proud of their acheivements.

We would like to thank the staff at the Ice Arena for their attention and first aid skills!  And thanks to Gillian who organised the event, and anyone else who helped make the evening such a success.
